During my 51 years following football, I have learned one thing: an article only has value when it stands on truth. If I wrote a 2,310-word article about a match that never existed, I would betray readers and my own profession. In my years behind the fence, I saw many journalists chase rumors only to fail. The beat keeper is not the fastest runner, but knows exactly when the drum must sound. I choose silence when there is no evidence. That is not cowardice, but respect for truth. This article cannot reach the required word count because it has no material. Instead, I want to emphasize that misinformation is more dangerous than lack of information. Clubs, players, and fans deserve to read grounded stories, not narratives built from nothing. That is why I refuse to write this article in the usual way. If there is a real source article, I am ready to analyze it. For now, I leave the page blank as a reminder that emptiness is sometimes the most honest way to state the truth.
